carburetor differences

Is there actually any real differences internally, between a carburetor fitting an NAA all the way through to a 1957 900? Seams as though one kit fits any of them.

Depending on which year 01, the carbs went through several size increases. TSX-706 (early) TSX-662/TSX-769 (mid) and TSX-813 were used in the later iterations of the X01 and three years for the prior model thousand series.

I know of lots of differences in external sizes and shapes. Was wander if there are any differences internally in the above mention carbs?

Royse will probably know. I imagine the small idle holes and jetting tube holes are probably bigger for an 801 versus a 601. They could be different also according to intake-exhaust manifold size. Someone said when cleaning the small holes with torch tip cleaning tools to make sure you didnt enlarge them any. Carburetors are actually pretty simple and work good. I had a 68 Camaro that wouldnt idle worth a hoot until I found that I could move the top flap door just a little bit and it idled perfect. I just had to bend the rod a little bit. Its all about air-fuel mixtures.
