A good friend of mine has an 841 with a 703 FEL on it. We recently discovered after firing it up that the pump housing is cracked. Here are some pix. Name and number on housing are:

"CESSNA 151-47-105C"

Anyone have a manual? Are parts available? I went to Northern Hydraulics but no help there.

That type of pump was used on agricultural tractors fitted with the 703 loader and 713/723 backhoe. The pump disassembly, inspection, and reassembly instructions are in the Service Manual for the Series 713 Ford Backhoes. The parts breakdown is in the Ford Backhoes Series 713 & 723 Parts Book. Below is a link to Messicks, look at pumps 193195 and 291130. When these pumps have a major failure most people end up putting in a new pump. New Cesssnas (Eaton) of the same type and capacity have the input/output ports in different locations and sizes making adaptation a pain in the neck.

Additional information if you choose to replace the pump. A kit is available here at YT, but out of stock, link given. I believe the kit is by Tisco and available elsewhere such as Amazon (out of stock also) and Ebay. A well-matched Eaton (formerly Cessna) gear pump is available at Surplus Center, part number 9-4443-D, if you choose to figure out the plumbing adaptations yourself.

We had a pump crack like that on a piece of equipment, they want big money for a new pump "over $1500". We took the broken center section to a machine shop and they made a new center section, cost us a few hundred but that was a lot cheaper than a new pump.
In you case it may be cheaper than a modified replacement.

Tim i would like to give you a tip that might prove useful,
i had the same exact problem with my ford loader when i first bought it, split in almost the same exact spot and the same pump.

well i examined the pressure relief at the levers and found 5 1/4' spacers at the relief where there were supposed to be a maximum of only 3.

the relief would not relieve and the pressure came back to the pump and blew the side out

be a shame to go through replacing everything and bust it again...
it is easy to check...
