Ford 4000 industrial cable power steering

Hello all. I have a 4000 industrial that has the cable power steering. It turns good and the cable doesn't slip. But when I turn to the left it appears to over steer and when I turn to the right it only turns about half way. Is there a way to adjust the cable? I took the side cover off the gear box. It doesn't appear to slip at all. Just wondering if there was an easy way to adjust. Shop manual wasn't much help. Thanks

I think most people convert them to the utility style as they are problematic. I havent worked on those but give a shout out to Tony Jacobs. He knows them.
