Ford 800 Three Point

Hey guys I got my Grandmas Ford 800 that was sitting for four years running last week. (Of course she lives 2 hours from me so I hardly ever visit her.) Anyways I put in a new lift cylinder, Oring, and washer. The problem is the lever to lift the arms only works about 3/4 of the way up and raises it all the way up. The draft control lever also moves towards the horizontal posistion when I raise it all the way up. Is this a case where I need to adjust the system with the NUDAY TOOL No. NCA503? Keep in mind I?m a 16 year old and dumb when it comes to grammar and tractors.

lternate adjustment method without the (almost unobtainable) NCA503 works easily.
Position/Draft lever changes position from vertical to horizontal when you use touch control lever to raise lift?

You missed something when you did the 'rebuild' as the linkage must be out of position or jazzed up. Did you use any document or manual as reference guide? Get a copy of the I&T F-20 manual and an original copy of the FORD 600/800 Operator's Manual.

(quoted from post at 17:58:38 08/19/18) Yes the draft control lever moves slightly when I
raise the touch control lever.
Slightly" might not be totally unexpected, as the cam is moving those parts when in Position mode. However, if "slightly' means moving such as to move out of the detent of that lever/shaft, then there is something not right.

Open it up again and follow the adjustment procedures in the book. Also, while you're in there make sure that the cam follower pin isn't worn. If it is then replace it.

Ok so I?m officially dumb. I re read the Manuel and found the part about adjusting without special Ford gauges. When I get to the tractor again I will adjust it and tell you guys how it goes.

don't call myself dumb, but I too read the manual when all else fails! :)
Here is a worn cam follower pin:

Not supposed to have slot in pin. That has been won into pin by cam.
New pin is just round dowel.
