Ford 5 speed clutch pedal shaft

Does anyone know in the CNH partstore where it shows the clutch pedal shaft? I remember trying to replace one of these quite a few years ago but didnt succeed. I found out later they are lefthand threads. I just bought a 2000 with the 5 speed. I think PO turned it the wrong way and it has an oil leak at the clutch pedal shaft. Any suggestions as to the best fix for it?

Product No: NDA7506B no longer serviced.

It's in the brakes section, page (02B03) - CLUTCH CONTROLS (58/-) on CNH's website

Riveroadrat,
Actually, it goes into the side of the case and there is a nut on the inside that holds it. If you are lucky, the nut is still on the end of the stub shaft and you just need to tighten it.

I believe it is normal righty tighty.

I have a lefthanded one I bought off ebay and it just screws into the case from the outside. I think they may have changed the design from the one with the nut on the inside.

Are you sure about this. All I see in online parts is the 58 up peg riveroadrat is describing, which is what I called out in a previous reply; and a shaft that goes completely through the transmission for both clutch and left brake on the 55 -57 models.
