Ford 3000 Hydraulics

Hello from Childers, Australia. I have a Ford 3000 in which the hydraulics are not working properly. When I pull the control lever all the way up, the 3 point linkage arms creep slowly up to about one third of the way they are supposed to go and then stop. I had a mechanic come out on Friday and test the hydraulic pump with his gauge and he said the pump was working ok. He said it would be something under the lift cover that needs adjusting. Just wondering is there anyone out there that has any suggestions or advice on what could be adjusted under the lift cover?[/img]

G'day from England.

You do not say whether you were using draft control or position control settings on the
lift but I would suspect you are using position control. If that is the case I would
suspect wear on the position control cam follower pin, this would cause your problems.

You will need to remove the lift and replace the pin then readjust the settings according
to the workshop manual.

worn cam follower pin maybe. pic shows my worn pin. I pressed out my pin and rotated it 180 degrees. Should last another fifty years
