Help with IDing Tractor Seat-Ford i think

Hi Ford experts,
My Oliver 550 has what i believe to be a Ford seat on it.
I would like to replace the cover and any non-working 'spring' components of the seat, but don't know the p/n of the seat or cover so i can order the appropriate replacement parts to make the seat 'spring' function work again and replace the worn-out seat cover/cushion. I have attached some pics.
Any help in determining what and where to order the required parts would be greatly appreciated.
Also, can you help me understand the purpose of the black knob and the lever circled in one of the pics?

Thanks,

It's a Ford seat - or at least it's the
style that was used on a Lot of Ford models.
The torsion rubber was still available from
New Holland dealer a few years ago but cost
as much as a whole new seat.
If you want to do a bit of searching look
for an old style suspension. Notice the
crimped pipe sticking out the side of this
one. Those used a steel torsion spring and
dont fail like the rubber ones do. Look in a
boneyard maybe.
I did a resto on one a few years ago. Bought
new bronze bushings at the hardware store
(not expensive) and rebuilt it.
Those are my favorite seats.

Ford seats on ytmag

Tractor manufacturers have rarely made their own seats. They have all bought them in from the same variety of manufacturers. A very good source for Ford parts is Messick's on-line store. Search for seats on 2600, 3600, 4600, etc.

Thanks to all for your valuable replies!

Has anyone bought the YT replacement seat that Ultradog MN pointed out, and if so can you provide any feedback of performance, comfort and durability?

Thanks again Guys!
