Will the Drawbar assembly for a 800,600 fit a four cylinder 2000 RC? I here that a 2000 RC is not rare, but I have never seen one other than in a brochure, except for the one I am thinking about buying. It looks good need some TLC wide front, 4 speed. No drawbar, just 3pt and stable bars. Are they some what rare?

In my opinion they are the most rare 4 cylinder row crop. You see alot less of them than 4000s, 901s, 900s or 740s. You don't see many 701's either but I think I have seen more of them than 2000s. I have one that is a gas Select o Speed. Friend of mine in Illinois has a 4 speed gas. If you have a chance to buy it I would try to get it for sure.

I don't own a 2000 RC but I do own a 960 and 4000 RC.
The drawbar from a utility tractor will fit them but doesn't
have the correct drop so it sits quite a bit higher.

I've seen more 2000 offset row crops than I've seen regular 2000 row crops, and even then if you count both the offset and the regular I don't think that there's as many out there as some of the other pre-1965 row crops.

FYI, if your drawbar assembly is the type that has the vertical flange that goes around the PTO housing for support, the 600 and 800 are not the same. BTDT, won't work.

Picture of the drawbars. There are differences in the length of the
mounting brackets as Tracy pointed out if you are missing that too,
but if you have the correct bracket, either drawbar will "fit".
