Ford 3400 Front Tires

I have a 1973 Ford 3400 with a loader. I use it for all around house hold chores. My front tires are passenger car tires. They are rubbing on the spindles and one has worn to the point it is now leaking. They are very bouncy when it comes to loader work. I am looking to replace them with some new tires. Can I fit 7.5s on the front?

I am looking at 7.5-16 aircraft tires, 235 truck tires, or 8 ply 6.5 three rib. I think the aircraft tires would be better but will they fit? I don’t want to drop the money and get the tires to find out they wont fit on the tractor. Thanks for all your help.

(quoted from post at 13:47:03 08/13/18) Look at trailer tires a bias ply 225/90/16 is about the same size as 7.50x16 tractor tire

I checked the tires on it and they are 245/70 16 steel belted radials rated for 2000lbs each at 44psi. I pumped them up to 45lbs as I had some attachments to move with the loader and they cleared the spindles pumped up. Could I get away with the 7.5 airplane tires?

I have run 235's with the rims turned out for years with no problem. Same for the aircraft, but again the rim turned out.

I did have one tractor with an odd spindle and that tire rubbed with the rim either way. The other spindle was fine. I dont know what or where the odd spindle came from or if it was damaged. I have also had bent rims where it rubbed only at one place on the rim.
