What tire to put on the front of a 3000

Front tires on my 3000 are needing replacing and I would like to go with truck tires. Actually would move the AG tires from my 3600 over to the 3000 and put the truck tires on the 3600. 3600 is basically dedicated to mowing and thinking truck tires would create fewer ruts.

Wondering what I should be looking for size and type, would probably buy from Sam's and have them mount the new tires.
 
Instead of using an F-1(three rib) tire, go to a I-1 ribbed implement tire they are even a more rounded profile than a pickup tire.
 
What you're going to run into by going with
wider tires is they will rub the spindles.
You can buy new implement rims with a
different offset or dish your rims out.
About the narrowest 16" tires for a truck
are that are common to find used (or cheap)
are from a 1 ton dually.
I have found that adding weight to the front
cuts down on scuffing.
I ran cheesey 14" car tires with newish
implement rims on my 3000 for several years.
Those with 200 lbs of bumper weights seemed
to scuff the least. Recently I put some
9:00-10s on the front of mine and they scuff
a lot even with the weights. Not sure if
it's because they are a heavy tire. They're
10 ply.
But I like the tires so will live with the
scuffing.
I do all my own tire work here.
Fronts are Very easy to slip on and off the
rim.
 
You will have to turn the rims out. AND... the tire shops have tons of used 16 inch tires that will work. You will rot them off before you wear them out. And tread on a street tire will have no effect at slow speed.. SO>>>>> go the tire shop, get some tires that show no cracking.

Negatives.. with out power steering they steer a bit harder.
Positives.. They hold up to much heavier loads, dont sink or leave ruts so bad. Mandatory for loader tractors in sand country. Cheap and last long long time. Tread doesnt matter so run them till they wont hold air.
