bushing drivers

My service manual says to use the "special Bushing drivers" to install the spindle bushings in my 641 with HD front end...as luck would have it I don't own a set of said drivers. That being the case I decided to make my own, had some scrap aluminum laying around and a friend with a lathe and here they are...worked like a champ.

Nice! No sense buying them (if you still can) when you may never
need them again, but making your own out of scrap is well worth it!

I've done that lots of times. it's the only thing I really miss from my old job.

You did the right thing, pressing is OK for aluminum, use steel if you are going to use a hammer.
