Yes there is a Ford in there somewhere! Me on the MM900, the Ford over there is a beautiful 5000 diesel row crop wide front duel power with a 3 point hitch 3-16" plow. Behind me is an IHC 540 4-16". Plowing oat stubble last Saturday around Hamilton, MI.

How many HP is the MM. What year?
I don't know much about those - other than they were built about 15 miles from where I live.
I moved to Mpls in 75 and it was closed but the buildings were still there. All gone now. Target store and strip mall in its place.
Sad.

A G900 mm rated 98 pto From the chunks they are plowing up I see why the plow is so small.

My 900 is a 1969, the last year they were built. I can easily pull 5 plows in lighter soil. I knew this was heavy and, this time of year, dry. So I took the 4 bottom with new deep suck points. Last year plowing in the same area, I had a 4 bottom trailer plow behind my Massey 97 (that's a MM 705)and was not at all happy with the job I did. So this year I came loaded for bear as they say.

I think I know the owner of the Ford 5000. Uses the 3 bottom for ease of hauling.
My brother bought a new 5000 in 1972. 8 speed trans. Pulled 4-16's with no problem. Installed a turbo on it and it just played with that plow.
