3400 gas tank removal

Trying to remove gas tank on Ford 3400 for cleaning and/or replacement. Have steering wheel off, removed hood and all bolts from sheet metal covering tank at the engine end. Tractor has cab and loader making it impossible to get under dash area to see additional bolts. Have looked on line without good results. Suggestions would be appreciated.

There is a bracket under the cowel that bolts to the steering column. There are 2 bolts on each side that bolt the rear end of the cowel to that bracket at about the 4:00 and 8:00 position relative to the steering column.
Remove those.
In your case it might be easier to remove the 2 bolts that bolt that bracket to the steering column too and take it out before trying to lift the cowel.
Photo shows that bracket on the right side of the cowel. It looks like my pal Kenny didn't put those bolts back in. Dunno why.
Tough to get under there for a photo.
