Paint for Ford 850

I had to take all the tin off so i could remove the leaky gas tank, so I might as well clean it all up and paint it. What's the DuPont paint # for the Ford grey for hood, doglegs, etc.? thx

Why and where was the gas tank leaking; The Sediment Bulb Assembly? Unless the tank developed an extreme rust hole, highly unlikely, leaks usually occur at the bulb.

FORD HUNDRED SERIES ORIGINAL PAINT SPECS:

M-13243 - MEDIUM GREY

M1J-965 - ORANGE RED

M2822 - VERMILLION (RED) the TISCO IH RED TP-110 IS AN ALMOST PERFECT ORIGINAL MATCH.

I prefer the 8N Vermillion Red, don't like the orangy look. Use the original paint codes to find your brand.

The mounting bracket under the front end of the tank was cracked in the center where the carriage bolt is, and the tank had a small crack there, also.
