My 1971 4500 TLB has vibration in the upper rpms, I moved the CAV injector pump timing some, and it smoothed out some. I noticed the on the bottom of this injector pump that has mechanism for changing the timing. Just wondering if the mechanism maybe stuck causing it to run vibrate some in the higher rpm range. If it is I find someone who can test my pump, rebuild it, or just exchange it for a reman pump, any ideas injector pump experts?

Also after 1 year, and 7 months I finally got to drive it under its own power for the first time without the loader, and backhoe on it. Considering I only worked on it on Sundays, and few week days on occasion, it sure felt good to drive it finally. Could use a better hood, dash, and a muffler clamp, but I'm pretty happy anyways.

A little test drive (those gophers make it a rough ride).

The advance blocks don't give much trouble, but other pump problems can affect it's correct operation. A complete tear down, cleaning and any worn parts replacement along with calibration testing may get the engine running better..

Since I have a lot more to do I'll probably get the pump rebuilt, or get a reman (I did reseal it). Now I'm going to concentrate on the loader/back hoe control valves, cylinders, hoses, and pivot bushings for a bit (a little change of pace for a little bit).

I made a new slideshow video, some of you may seen some of these pictures, but I've added more pictures to show it get into a rolling, driving tractor again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSLHaHsdawM
