New to me early 4000 and loader

Today I brought home a 1963 4000 with a loader. Rear tires are great but don't match. One rim is a spin out and the other standard. It has the weight mounting plate but no weights. Loader works but both cylinders leak on lift. I have several 801's so I know what I have here.
My question is: are the lift cylinders easy to reseal/repair or is this a job for the pro's? I am thinking about removing the loader completely and wholesaling it off because the tractor has no power steering and never did. It has Armstrong steering. No loss for me as I have other machines with loaders.
Check out that homemade step!

No harm in trying to replace seals yourself. Take it to the pros if you hit a snag. I stopped worrying about how difficult a repair might be as it seems most times after completing a repair I found myself thinking that repair was not so bad at all. Take your time and think things through. Do you have a service manual or parts diagram for the loader?

Seal replacement is a one man job if you know how to get into the cylinder. There are several different ways. Packing (seals) are around $35 per
cylinder if you shop around, readily available.

Yes, I am certain that I will take it off. I have two real loader tractors so don't need this one. I bought it for the tractor underneath and the nice rubber. Thanks.

Though resealing the FEL single acting cylinders is neither difficult nor expensive, you will be better off getting rid of it. It runs off of the tractor pump so will be slow at best. It also is a trip bucket of limited usefulness.

Can't see the shifter of clutch. Is it a 4 speed?

If you were closer, I would try to swap you out of that single PA wheel center and clamps.

It is a five speed.
Today I took off the loader and gave it fresh lube all around. Tightened up a few easy gas leaks, greased it, looked it all over real close. It is a keeper. And it steers SO much easier!
