Can't have too many weights

Picked these up today. Full set of heavy pie weights and front weights.
I remove them from the tractor so I got all the extenders, bolts, nuts, etc.
The pie weights are actually in much better condition, as far as the
paint is concerned than the fronts but the fronts aren't too bad either.
Once I took them off and saw the condition, I didn't argue on price.
Buyer and seller both happy.

Those look real nice Royce, you find some nice stuff. I havent found anything good in a while here a little farther north of you. What are you going to mount them on?

When I get done refurbing them, I'm going to swap them with
the ones currently on my 3000. Then I'll take the ones currently
on my 3000 down to the sandblaster and refurb those.
Once done, I may put those on my 851 mutt or I may sell them.
Not sure yet. I really don't need the front weights right now, but
they were included in the price so I brought them home.

Yes sir I did. Took them off that tractor myself today.

The red color on it is a bit odd, but it looks like a nice, straight,
clean tractor up close. I did not start it or hear it run but I didn't
see any leaks or obvious issues. Really wasn't looking to buy it tho.
The remote valve is there, no hoses. Sherman as pictured. 6V.
Rest-O-Ride seat was far better than any of the three I have.

I bought the pictured 3000 from the same guy a couple years ago.
Don't know how much profit he's making, but a nice guy for sure!

Cool beans! Did the rear weights include the mounting plates, I don't see them? If not, Tom in MO posted above about his new 4000 that came with the plates but no pie segments. Maybe haggle out a deal? The original Ford 2-Piece front wheel weights are not easy to find and may be worth more than a set of pie weights. I bought a set of the HD (45#) pie weights for my 8N years ago, blasted and painted them but never installed them for fear of exceeding rear end capacities. Mt buddy has about 6 sets of pies, both the 29# and the 45# styles, but can't sell any. There doesn't seem to be much demand anymore.

Not yet, Royse.

I'm hoping to sell the 860 as is with the weights and dual remotes installed in order to save the trouble of removing everything.

Of course, it will likely sell easier without the options and the weights and remotes will sell easily.

If it doesn't sell as set up, I'll remove the weights and remotes and sell them separately after the tractor sells.

The tractor is currently listed in the YT photo ads.

I just checked the YT Photo Ads and cannot find my 860 ad???

Don't know why as it was posted only a couple of weeks ago.

In any event, a link to a CL ad is below.

I've several sets of half moon front wheel weights including an extra set.

Front weights help considerably with heavy implements on the three point but increase steering effort noticeably when there is no counterweight and no PS.
