5600 lives again

my 5600 ford is a 1977 model with a 233 engine . it was owned by the peanut company I have worked for 43 years. I bought it with transmission problems but we got her to run . I was the first employee to drive this tractor when new. she went down with a fuel problem I found the tank had 3inches of peanut hulls in it so I replaced the tank and filter . no joy so I installed new injectors and resealed pump no joy .so she has been under the shop for 2 years. last week I bought a rebuilt lucas pump bleed the lines and hit the starter .she fired up and runs perfectly .took her out and hooked up the harrow and went around the field no problems. this winter I think I will get into the trans and fix it right then I will paint and restore it back to new. we do have history together and I will keep her in the family.
