I don't know for sure, but seems the trannys are the same and should interchange but, I don't know, never had a Thousand Series though I want a 4000. I will ask a few S-O-S guys around here and meantime maybe someone here can answer that better than I. Watch your IN-BOX for the YT message, then we can talk direct without their linkage.

I think someone here already did answer better than you. did you read the responses to Ultra's question?
Larry, many guys don't even read the whole original post before they answer. Think how this would look if a bunch of guys were sitting around talking. You would think that the poor guy has dementia, LOL.
The answer is a definite no! 3000 and 4000 transmissions do not interchange. Their D planetary systems are not identical yielding different output shaft speeds.
(quoted from post at 07:34:06 07/27/18) If you are talking to me, read my reply again, as I said I wasn't sure, that the 10-Speed Power Shift Select-O-Speed tranny was an option on both models, and they each have different size engines, and that I don't have a Thousand Series model. If I had or access to an I&T F-031 manual, I would have checked further. If your reply was not directed to me, pardon me.
