NAA hydraulics

Am unable to find a hold, neutral, "hiccup" position. When in neutral I have lift pressure at the pump, as if we have a closed center system. Using a 503 Ford rake on the three point, I will have a constant 1000# at the pump in the lift or hold position. When oil is warmed up speeding engine up from an idle will raise the three point up several inches. Relief pressure is about 1600#. Tractor has a NAA piston pump with new seats, balls, and spring's. Lift chest has new piston seals , unloading valve oring & gaskets. also has a LPTO so can't have a look in side. When tractor is shut off the three point settles in about 10 minuets. Am thinking the passage way between the unloading valve and control valve is obstructed. Do I by a new relief valve? Dollars!!!! Any thoughts?

Sounds like backpressure valve is not opening so as to dump to reservoir (typically around 40psi).

Thanks for the comment. Never had the nut off of it at the proper time although it has been free when out of the system when I have had the lift chest off , at least four times!!! It will be a while before I get back to messing with it again
