Time for another....

This one is done and I like to keep myself busy. I hate to see it just sit and not get used 99% of the time. Mechanically, it's almost like the day it came off the line. Want to find a project tractor to save. Question is... in your opinion, what's the best way to advertise a tractor for sale? Craigslist? Ebay? Here? Auction? Going to sell it for a fair price to both the buyer and myself. Just trying to find the best way to move it. Thanks!

I buy and sell a lot on CraigsList Tom, but I know how much time
and work you have into that tractor. Most on CL are looking for cheap.
You could certainly try listing it there, it's free, obviously.

I might try eBay but keep in mind their fees for sold items.
You'd get a much wider audience and might find the right buyer.
Doesn't have to be an auction listing, set a price and accept a best offer.

A local auction will let you know what the local market will bear.
Going that route, I would set a minimum and hope for the best.
There is usually a fee for setting a minimum if it doesn't sell.

As an aside, I'd love to have that tractor but I can't afford what
I believe it is worth! Front weight box, light pie weights, spin out
rims, one arm loader, back blade and in perfect shape.
Best of luck with it!

Tom, I may be very interested in this tractor depending on price. Let me know what you’re thinking and I’ll discuss it with the wife.

Tom, I am at about the same place with my 961. I have two guys very interested in it and I agree completely with Royse.

I would advertise it on YT, the other Ford site and CL. All are free.

Patience is a virtue.

You might want to try tractorhouse as well. If you have never advertised on tractorhouse, your first ad is free (or at least it once was).

I'm not fond of ebay but it has its place and may be the proper place in your case. I'm not familiar with their fee schedule but do know that they nickel and dime one to death. In any event, try the free options first.

What project tractor are you looking for?

I joined both those organizations in the hopes of selling my 2000 Offset after no luck with CL, Ebay or Yesterdays tractors.

the moves paid off handsomely BTW. took awhile tho. I was in no hurry.
