Identifying my Ford Tractor

I am trying to identify my Ford Tractor.
The Numbers I have found I have not been able to interpret.
850 then below sideways diamond 68 801 sideways diamond.
The format doesn't match anything I have read online except for the first two numbers.
Please advise.

850 is your model number... it's an 800 with a 5-speed and transmission driven (non-live) pto. 68801 is your serial number, making
it a fairly late 1955 model. If there's a slight gap between the 8's, just remember that these numbers were hand stamped... spacing
won't be perfect.

Right on the money as usual Fordfarmer. I am always amazed at the amount of bad info I hear at tractor shows about Ford tractors. I have a jubilee with a gold coin glued above PTO and gold (brass) colored wingnuts on umbrella. It generates lots of questions and conversations about Golden Jubilee and gold demonstrators etc.

There are many folks out there who have no clue on how to ID a FORD TRACTOR. Look at how many CL and fleabay listings are wrong. For example, "...an all original 1956 Ford 9N for sale..." is typical wording or relatively likewise wording - same point. Your gold coins were added by a person, never an OEM feature. The term "GOLDEN JUBILEE" was used in honor of Henry Ford and the 50th anniversary of Ford Motor Company, "golden" being a term for fiftieth anniversary, as FoMoCo was established in 1903 and the new tractor was for model year 1953. "Jubilee" is a Biblical term referencing 50 year periods. The Gold Demonstrator Models were built and painted gold to promote the new "SELECT-O-SPEED" transmission models. They did not exist until January, 1959 with the 871 and 881 models. Gold Demonstrators were only offered to dealers as a promotion gimmick, never as production models. The funny thing is, and another example of clueless people, a recent MECUM auction had what was stated to be, quote, "...this rare, 1962 Ford 600 Gold Demonstrator tractor...". Really??? Even some books on FORD TRACTORS has it wrong as well. One book states they were first introduced on a 'fleet of 861 Models'. Not possible. The 861 was a Five-Speed transmission -the '6' designates it as so. GOLD DEMOS were, again I emphasize, to introduce the new S-O-S models. No other models, Golden Jubilees included were ever GOLD DEMOS.

I know Tim, I added the gold stuff on mine just for conversation at the shows. I restored it 10 years ago totally oem except 12 volt system. I got lots of helpful knowledge from you and others back then on the other board.
