Puff of blue smoke on startup

My 3000 gas gives a little blue smoke on startup. It starts and runs beautifully so I'm not inclined to touch it just yet, but would like to deal with it sooner or later.

I'm assuming it's just stem seals or possibly guide wear. Any tips? Are these engines known for valve issues?

How much oil does it use?
If it doesn't use much oil and is only a small puff at first start I wouldn't mess with it.

Sometimes it is best to leave well enough alone..
I have found that most of the time it worked better before I fixed it.

A small puff is generally oil down the guides, I would not worry about it unless you are wanting work, if so, would put perfect circle valve seals on.
