Ford 6610 Hydraulic pump - Gap at Mounting Flange

Has anyone run into a hydraulic pump that leave a gap at the thin part of the sealing/mounting flange for the transmission mounted hydraulic pump (right above the brake shaft through the housing to the left brake)? I ordered an aftermarket pump a little over a year ago (of course warranty ran out 1 month ago when I finally figure out the problem after 3 gaskets, replacing the brake shaft seal, and all the o -rings), and it works great, other than the tractor has always had a leak since putting it on. I finally mounted the pump without the gasket, and you can see in the image that there is a gap between the pump and the transmission. Do I have a tractor with an abnormally thing flange in this area or do you think I just got a bad pump? The factory pump sealed fine and seems a little bigger. I may clean it back up and rebuild it if these aftermarket pumps are not cast as large around.

Here is the pump brand and model:

Pump shows as fitting the 6610 (not 6610s).
All the ports lined right up. Mayne I'll
try one more and this time.figure out if it
is cast correctly before the 1 year mark is
up. I've had some poor aftermarket parts,
but never seen one that fit but didn't like
this...

Yes I just went to put an aftermarket pump on our 6610 tractor tonight and I had the same problem. I am calling the company I bought it from in the morning.

The hydraulic pump i bought was an economy pump and the housing was two small. I sent it back and purchased the standard after market pump and it fits perfectly. The economy pumps have an E after the part number.

Do you know that brand the pump was? I got a replacement, and from the initial dry fit, it looks like a proper fit. Unfortunately, I think the gasket I had ordered got mixed up with recycling and tossed (it was sandwichedin a broken down cardboard box to keep it from getting damaged), so I am waiting on my new one to arrive.
