Ford 2000 serial number

On an older Ford 2000 4 cylinder tractor, which numbers on bell housing are the serial numbers, the ones in between the "diamonds", or the ones just above?

The numbers between the diamonds are the serial number. The other numbers above the serial number are the specific model number, which would start with either 20 or 21 for a 4 cylinder 2000. The entire model number will tell you specifics about it like the chassis type (industrial, ag, row crop, offset) the transmission type (4 speed, 5 speed or 10 speed) and which PTO option it had (live, non-live or independent).
