71 4000 Stabilizer Bars

Is there a picture anywhere of correctly installed bars on a 71 model 3 cyl diesel? Mine has 1 bar on RH side and it is bent all out of shape and the holes and pins are all boogered up and holes in bar have been relocated with a torch.Where is best place to get new ones?Dont I need one on both L and R sides? Thanks

Get a set of these and forget about those flat bars.
Put a set on a 5600 and haven't had issues with the stabilizers since. The flat bars where all ways getting bent.

I have 1 for 65up 4000, don't know if L or R. Bought pair for 5000 used. both same side. The end with one hole is smaller for 4000 than 5000.

I put a set of those on my 5000 Ford several years back,
expensive but worth every dime, I keep saying I?m going to
copy the design and make a few sets and put on some of my
vintage tractors but haven?t got around to it yet

Here?s mine mounted on my 5000 Ford, I can?t say that it will fit your 3400, I sold a 3600 Ford last summer and it would not have fit the 3600. If your hand with cutting, drilling and welding these things would be easy to make fit for any kind of tractor, I?m going to make several hopefully this Fall when the heat and humidity gets out of Bama....
