Finally got the non-running 850 home. It's still 6 volt, has a FEL and PS. Wiring is a total disaster, but surprisingly it has power to the coil and dist, and the engine turns over easily. I replaced the battery cables, and got a few pops and a puff of smoke, but still no start. Weak yellow spark from the plugs. New ignition switch and wiring harness on the way, I don't think it'll take much to get it running...
