HELP IDENTIFY THIS TRACTOR

Hello, I am having difficulty identifying a Ford tractor.
I had believed it was a 3400, but now the further I look , the more unsure I am.
Numbers on the clutch housing(above where the starter bolts in) show as:
5M2CCB
34021G
C131505 6C14

Tractor is 3 cylinder, gas. Has FEL. Exhaust goes up.
Transmission is dual range, stick on right is hi-lo.
Stick on left is h pattern f1 and f2 on top, r1 and r2 on bottom, so in all, there are 4 speeds forward, 4 speeds reverse.
Has power steering, a non adjustable front axle, 3 point hitch, no pto.
Also has 12 volt Lucas generator electric. Dry , outboard brakes.
I have owned this for more than 20 years, has been the most reliable machine, can sit for months, will start with no problem.
It is now time to do some repairs, maybe get some new sheet metal to make it pretty. Would be nice to know exactly what it is, thanks, Ed.

5M2CCB I'm not sure about, 5M20B would be a build date for Dec 20 1965 but you have a date code of 6C14 behind the serial number which is March 14 1966

34021G is the model number for a 3400, gas engine, no pto, 4x4 manual reverser trans

Serial number C131505 is for a 66 model tractor

Many thanks. I found a decoder for model/serial info on another site, it didn't seam like it was complete.
You have cleared up the confusion.

The 5M2xxx number is probably a garbled date code for when the transmission was assembled, which would have been in December 1965, which sounds correct for a tractor that was assembled in March of 1966.

That 4x4 manual reversing transmission was only made from 1/1/65 through 3/31/68, at which point they added a third forward gear in each range, making it a 6x4 manual reverser. The 6x4 shares most parts with the 4x4 so if you're ever looking for transmission parts at a salvage yard, a 6x4 may have what you're looking for.

Thanks for the info on the transmission.
The addition of extra gears would make this unit a much better tractor.
As it is , the gearing is much too high.
I use 1st lo most of the time.
In 2nd hi (4th?) the tractor will do about 25 mph on the flat.

I'm pretty sure that the extra gears of the 6x4 are higher gears, as the parts diagrams show the same part numbers for the gears themselves for 1st & 2nd on the main shifter and they just a added a 3rd.
