Ford 3000 Simms injector pump

Just aquired this tractor. Cranks over great, but no start. Not getting fuel to injectors. Pulled the Simms pump and found first, no oil. Only the center plunger was moving. On removing the valve block, I broke off the tabs on two of the plungers as they were stuck. Got all plungers out and freed up, but the tabs are my problem. Can the tabs be removed and replaced or do I need the entire plunger as an assy?
Any other advice on this pump will be appreciated.

Every so often I respond to a post. Sometimes in these posts I speak of a "train wreck". A simple repair just got bigger and more expensive. You will need to send this one out to run again. Sometimes there is no substitute for experience. After I had a train wreck many years ago ,and an old timer told me " a good education isn't cheap, now you can pay to learn" welcome to pump repair 101. Al

Thanks for the response, though I figured as much. I was hoping for some more encouraging info, like slap it back together and all will be fine..HaHa. I guess it's time to get another pump or try to get this one rebuilt. If I had a CAV pump and lines would I be able to easily convert? Or would I also need injectors.

I believe that a CAV pump needs a different drive gear under the front timing cover. I'm not sure if it would need different injectors.

I think that the Simms pump is pretty good. Since you need new barrels and plungers anyway you could send it to Wimer's injection in Sandy point PA and they will make you new ones and tune it all up and send it back ready to make 70HP.
