Owner has NOT got a clue as to what eng.??? 134 or 172CI????

Ask owner to get the Casting code or date code off the lower section off the engine block. Ask owner if the left brake pedal goes thru the bellhousing, an 800 or if that brake pedal goes thru the rear
center housing, an 801. He's calling it a powermaster so I assume it's a 172.

My Marvel Schebler / Ford Manual shows this:

TSX-706 => EAF9510G; B6NN9510A; -800/900

TSX-771 => 312778; -801/901

TSX-662 => 310015; -801/901

TSX-769 => 312955; -801/901

TSX-813 => CONN9510C; CONN9510G; -801/901/4000

...hope this helps clarify somewhat.

Google Smith's Old Ford tractors to help get the model and serial number of the tractor which will help chasse down the carburetor possibilities

Just like the N carbs you've done so many of, they can be changed.
Even the 800/801/4000 manifolds for the same 172 CI engine
will interchange, they just take a different bolt pattern (spacing)
of carb mounting bolts. And of course, different inlet tube, etc.
So the model of tractor after this many years is really not all that important.

What is important is getting the TSX model number off the carb
if possible. If that's not possible, get the spacing of the mounting
bolts, the size of the carb bowl, the diameter of the banjo bolt, as
there were at least two and the size of the gas line.

You could get either banjo bolt size sediment bowl with either of
the two gas line sizes the last time I checked. I keep a spare to
test different carbs on my 960 when I get the larger ones in to rebuild.
