Live PTO on a Ford 600

(quoted from post at 11:56:29 06/07/18) Yes, model 660. Below is a link to an information page on the host
wesite.
Ford 600 with 660 info
ot the best photo for viewing the shifter, but I don't think it is 5 speed, which would be necessary for live pto. could be wrong, as it isn't best photo to see transmission.

600 is a series of tractor models. The individual models have different middle digits,. Here are some of the individual model numbers in the 600 series and the differences between them:

640 - 4 speed with trans (non-live) PTO
650 - 5 speed with trans (non-live) PTO
660 - 5 speed with live PTO

Unless the picture is really deceiving the tractor does not have LPTO. The clutch pedal is in the wrong place for a 5 speed tranny .

Yes, it is possible but I doubt that the pictured tractor is a 660. 660s are not common.

Ask for photos of the model number from the bell housing.

There are lots of jockeys out there who do not know what live PTO is, let alone if the tractor that they are trying to sell has it.

Regardless of live PTO or
not.....with the equipment that's
a fairly good deal. At least it
would be in Alabama.
