Looking for an older tractor around 100hp to replace a tractor that I now have (not a Ford) that is NOT air conditioned. My biggest tractor is an 8830 which is an okay tractor. Cab is quiet and AC always has worked good for many years.

I am considering a TW5 or TW10 (2WD) or the smallest of the 30 series. I need your opinion of the TW series.

Air Conditioning--on a scale of 1 to 10 where 10 is the best, how good (trouble free) is the AC on the TW series?

Cab--- on a scale of 1 to 10, how quiet is the cab on the TW series?

Power shift--on a scale of 1 to 10, how smooth, quiet, and durable is the power shift on the TW series? (my 8830 has a Funk transmission that I generally like---only one harsh shift 9th to 10th range change--otherwise a good tranny.

Manual 8 speed tranny-- on a scale of 1 to 10 how durable, quiet, no gear grinding, good clutch, etc. is this tranny?

What would you say is the TW5 or TW10 main shortcoming? (for example my 8830 has low torque rise but the 18 speed compensates for that except the 9-10 shift needs to be avoided under load--fan belt needs to be a double to be durable enough.

Thanks for any feedback.

without a turbo a little lazy . other than that same engine , rearend , cab minus electronics on the dash same tractor .eight speed trans with dual power

The tw20 has a rather plain crashing grinding 4 speed, with a hi-lo on both sides of it. There isn't any power shift about it, other than the one side is the Dual Power that you can shift on the go.

Good cheap power, certainly not a good loader type tractor that you need to shift constantly.
