Does anyone know what loader was installed on a 545?
I have a 19-858 number from the tag but New Holland is not finding anything with that.
Thanks.

That's strange. 19-858 is showing up as the loader arms for a "4500 lb. loader" but it doesn't mention a model number for the loader itself. The 545 looks like it could have come with a 3500 or 4500 lb. loader, but no mention of the models is made anywhere. Also, the loader frame isn't shown anywhere, just the arms, cylinders, buckets and other components.

Thanks Sean.
Where are you finding that info?
I searched Messicks and got nothing with
that 10-858#
Ken wants to replace all the hoses on his -
all 10 of them. He went to a local hyd shop
and they quoted him $350+ for them.
I just thought I'd check OEM and see if they
were any cheaper.
He's nearly done with a fairly substantial
resto on it.
Here's a before photo if that helps ID it.
It is a very heavy loader.

The loader parts are listed as part of the 545 tractor. Go to Messicks, online parts, New Holland, New Holland Construction, search for 545, bring up the 545, then select loader section. Whew! I would post a link but those Messicks links don't always turn out so good for everyone.

Here it is on Messics it's 745 not 545

Thanks.
I didn't think about searching for the tractor 545. Was searching for the loader 745.
It looks like they're wanting an average of $55 apiece for the hoses.
Makes the $35 he was quoted at the hyd shop seem cheap.
Ouch...

I couldn't delete the empty post or edit the other one but I paid $41 + change at NAPA for 1 hose and $35 for another one exactly the same at a transmission shop (without a receipt) so I think $35 a hose is a fair price.

For future reference you could have found the loader by searching for the component # "19-858" or by searching for "745-series".

3500 lb loaders were typically found on 445 tractors and later 345(C or D) tractors.

(quoted from post at 06:35:44 06/05/18) Thanks to you too 2hot.
You're welcome. Glad to help.

I found that the Messicks parts lookup is more accurate than the New Holland one. I haven't bought many parts for my tractor so far but twice already the New Holland website gave me the wrong part numbers. :(

Just saw this - Haven't been on the computer in a couple days, and "someone" took my phone charger, so it's dead for now...
You guys have pretty well covered this. Here's what my sales literature says for the 545 tractor: "The tractor-loader may be ordered with either of two factory-installed Ford series 745 loaders - the 3500# lift capacity direct bucket linkage model, or a 4500# lift capacity 4-bar linkage loader."
