6600 dual power correct clutch?

The 6600 needs a new clutch. Serial number is 6F21B C509584* with dual power. Is it possible to determine the correct clutch kit and have parts on hand before I tear into it, or will I have to just take it apart and see?

You should be able to determine from the parts book the correct clutch kit. THat is not to say it will be the same as what you have in there
now..

The input shaft will be coarse spline. The main question is whether or not the disc is 12" or 13". It's most likely 12. I could peek through
the starter hole with a mirror and tell you. A 12" will have 4 fingers on the pressure plate, whereas a 13 will have 4 fingers connected to a
round thrust plate.

I will try pulling the starter to see if I can tell. From what I can find, it should be 10 spline, 1 3/4" hub. I just don't know if 12" or 13". Does it matter if I get a rigid disc or one with damper springs? If it doesn't matter, which is better?
