1967 Ford 3400 followup value.

Got to see it today. PTO, 3pt, twin stick. Told hrs are correct (1280). Rusty but not beatup.
Tires look good but old. Only glass broken is at RT frt lower corner of cab. Told it had
hydraulic oil leaking from both sides of gear case. Was shown and it appears to be old dry
seals. Would need to remove both rear wheels to get to each. All hoses on loader look fairly
new. Loader control valve rebuilt 6 yrs ago. Not started in 5 yrs. Your thoughts on offering
price? Hope picture makes it

Going have to pull more than wheels to replace seals. Have to pull axles, get special wrench to remove nuts then press to get bearings off.

I'm not familiar with this model, but do have a 4500 - does this one have the brake shaft that runs thru the bottom of the case and depends on seals to keep the oil in? Are those seals the issue? And does it have wet brakes that depend on rubber boots to keep the fluid in the rear end? Is that the issue? If it's either one of those points, while it would be a PITA, neither would require particularly expensive parts or special equipment -

Are the rear tires loaded? They are expensive to deal with - in the pictures they look serviceable, but if you are going to be using this regularly they may not last long. You should certainly plan on replacing the valve cores if you get it, see if they are too corroded to service.

You'll need high dollar battery (batteries?) to even try to start it - setting outside unrun for 5 years... I'd drain and refresh the fuel and replace all the filters before I'd even try cranking it -

Fuel tank rusty inside? - replacing that looks like a lot of work -

dunno - how bad do you want/need it? To me it looks like a $1500 project tractor as it sets, a little more than scrap... But what you really need is the the owner to put a price on it and go from there -

Loader lift arms not cracked up like you usually see. Tires look servicable. Cab and loader would make it less than optimal for some uses but it would sure be nice for winter snow moving.
Never, ever trust the hours on a 65-75 tach.
That tractor is the same machine as a 3000 except it has a much heavier, non adjustable front axle.
I think Pomester has the price range pegged.
I would offer a Grand for it.
The loader is worth most of that and the front axle/power steering is worth another grand so you could get your $ back + if it turns out to be a clunker.

Non running,, not much.. as others said.

Running and tests good.. completely different. Cab would have to come off and be sold, fix leaks, then paint, then $6500 to 7500 down here. Good round bale moving tractors are needed everywhere for feeding cattle. sell it with a hay fork on the rear or a shredder. The heavy front end makes it better.
