is the price right ?

Not a fan of the rear tires, but the tiller will get $900 around here. So it makes it priced pretty good. As others have said, condition is everything. If its not blowing and starts quick and crisp cold, and is reasonably tight... its priced too low for around here. Would sell for $5500 min.

Not likely to bring that much in my part of the country, but
it looks like a good straight machine from what I can see.
If I were looking for one with PS to do roto-tiller work with, it
would certainly get that job done with an 8 speed in good condition.

Steve,
If it is a good, tight machine it would be worth that here and probably go pretty quickly.
Notice it has the same 9.00-10 fronts that I just put on and posted about the other day here.
You can see the extra set of bolts that bolt the two halves of the rims together.
I have that same tractor. My 3000 is actually a stealth 3600.
I know you don't like it when I don't rave about the Ns or even pooh pooh them sometimes but if you had that tractor your regard for Ns would change a lot and not for the better...
They are all-round great small tractors.

Steve, I'm near you and the tractor by itself would go quickly around her for $3500.00 and linger for awhile on Craigslist if listed for $4000.00. The tiller could be worth $500.00 to some folks and as much as $1000.00 to others, so it really depends on who is out looking on any particular day.

If you're looking at it to use, then it's worth what you're willing to pay for it, but if you're looking to flip it then you'll probably not make much profit, if any.

would be using it. he offered to take in trade one of my ugly TO-35's and 3000 for it. my problem is I have never owned a "diesel" and it kinda scares me. (wuzzy that i am)

(quoted from post at 15:47:41 05/21/18) what pump would that be and where is located ? I've never owned a diesel.

The fuel injection pump. It's on the right side of the engine near the front. Just follow the fuel line from the shutoff valve at the tank down to the fuel filter and then from the fuel filter to the injection pump. Can't miss it.
