Ford 2000. 3pt speed? Aux? Vent?

What is this? It's on top of the rear end below the seat, where I'd normally expect the lift speed to be. Manual says speed adjust should be down on the side and the aux selector should be on top. This doesn't look the same though, no markings, spinning the sleeve does nothing. Is it just a vent?

The lever pointing upward is for selecting draft or position control on the 3-point, if that's what you're asking about. The pedal is the differential lock. 2000s did not come with a speed control.

I was asking about the "knob" looking part sticking out there. If 2000s didn't come with speed control it must be just a vent.

(quoted from post at 21:57:14 05/19/18) that's a selector valve

That link isn't showing anything for me. The manual says it's an aux hydraulics selector valve, but it doesnt do anything. The sleeve just spins, there's no detents, no markings. Looks different than the manual too, that's what's got me thinking it's just a vent of some sort.

Selectrol valve.
There should be a knob on it that you can push/pull fore and aft.
It diverts the hydraulic power from the 3 point to a remote cylinder.
Only gives you one way hyd power though and it's either/or with your lift.
They made other types of valves to fit there too. Most have one or two handles to lift a snowplow or operate a simple loader or I use one for a hydraulic top link where you want to power the cylinder both ways.
Mike below is correct; they never put flow control on the 2000s.
2000 never had an adjustable lift link on the left side of the 3 point either.
3000s had both.
Am less certain about the 26/3600s but think they are likewise.
Diff lock on a 2000 means it is a later model.
I dont think they put diff lock and the requisite square axles on a 2000 till well past 1970. If I had to guess like 73 or so.

Ok, so it's supposed to push and pull. That explains why spinning it does nothing. Where would the hose connect? Onto the back of this valve housing? And from the serial number the tractor should be a 68 made in Belgium. The square fenders have been replaced by aftermarket round fenders by prev owner and hand brake done away with though.

The hose for a single acting cylinder would connect where the large bolt head is on the top of the valve housing. Remove the bolt and replace it with a suitable hydraulic fitting for the hose.

As the others have said, there is no flow control valve (what you're calling a speed control) on a 2000. They were only on the 3000 and up.
