I purchased a 1957 power master from an auction I paid 2500 for it it has a 8 foot box blade and a front end loader is that a good deal ?
I got it home the clutch was shop I split tractor the rear seal was leaking so I put new sleeves and rods and mains iin it this tractor pulls like no tomorrow still adding parts on it is this tractor worth the maney my first tractor?

A running 851 Power Master with a box blade and loader is a steal at $2500.00. It would easily go for around $4000.00 to $4500.00 around here in southeast PA.

That sounds good but I want the tractor to look like it did while working . I have put a new radiator , clutch, started switch and a few other items what is the value of the tractor then . I don't intend on selling the tractor just want to be sure my investment is a good one

Since you're not looking to sell it, its value is only dependent on your own perspective. If you feel it was worth what you paid for it plus what you're putting into it then it was a good deal.

Prices are always commented on. Location prices will vary. I have a 960 ford. one of the best tractors I have had since 1997. Overhauled it once, put new carb on it and it will start in any weather. Yours has power steering, mine doesn't work. That loader is a big plus. Being it seems you can do the work your self and you seem happy with it I am happy for you. Little love and maintence and that tractor will give you years of enjoyment when you need it. Good luck on your fine purchase and remember parts aren't that expensive to do the job right. Good deal.

Thanks
as stated I'm new to these tractors but I can build just about anything . I have found another Ford 851 Power Master for 1500$ nothing special is that a good deal ? of that has a three point and an auger
