Hi Guys.

I really hope that you can help me here :!:
I have a Ford 4610 4WD with the following id:
SN: BA19482
Model: DA314D
Unit: 4GO5B
Engine: 788394 4GO2
Transmission: 4F25B

I found a repair manual, but it does not cover my transmission, none of the pictures looks correct. I have looked at the eksploded views on https://partstore.agriculture.newholland.com but they only cover 2 transmission types, and mine is not there :/
I need 3 things for the transmission, the 2 oilseals towards the engine and the gasket that holds the output axel housing (i really dont know whet its called). It only have 4 bolt holes.
The big oilseal has numbers on it: 49,21 x 63,47 x 7,92 E0NN C729BA

Does anyone know where to find these parts online, and some manual or drawings on my transmission? Google cant seem to help me :/

I really hope you guys know something. I thought Ford parts was easy to find.

Kind regards
Morten

Hehe Never mind, i Found it, it seems to be this:
https://partstore.agriculture.newholland.com/us/ceresvillenh/parts-search.html#epc::mr67843ar396696bi1611037-4

The seals match my measurements :)

Funny, I couldn't find that number either.. I bought the tractor with a defective engine, so I havent drivet it yet. But there are to gear levers by the steeringswheel, and by the drawings it looks lige a 8 Speed with syncro :)

Never seen a D code either, but with the BA prefix on the serial number, I bet it?s not one that
was supposed to be here, love to see a picture of it

Your wish is my command

Here you go.

The BA serial numbers were just the first ones after they went to specialized assembly at each of the plants. They only assembled engines at one plant, transmissions at another, etc. and they only did the final tractor assembly at Basildon, and the serial numbers then started with BA, then BB, then BC, etc. At that point they truly were "World tractors" and were sold most everywhere from the same final assembly plant.

The "D" transmission code is missing from all of the documentation that I have as well, but there is no 8x2 synchro mentioned in any of that documentation either, and the parts site clearly shows it as being available for that model tractor. So I will update my master reference document and it will be included in the next version that I post. I'm not sure when that might be, but it's long overdue even though there have only been a few minor corrections and additions since the last version.

Correction, I already had the "D" transmission code in some notes that I had from information on another tractor.

Does yours have 4 forward speeds and only 1 reverse speed on the main shifter with high/low range on the secondary shifter, or does it have 2 reverse speeds in each range? My notes form that other tractor say that the "D" transmission code is an 8x4 syncro, but that could be incorrect as my memory on making that note is so faint as to be almost nonexistent.

I really don't know as i haven't driven it yet
Will a picture of the controls help you? I could take one later :)

Your right, the 8x4 synchro isn't listed.
I'm thinking there may be a couple of trans not listed.
My 6610 has the 8x4 synchro with dual power, I'll be looking at trans code on it in a little while, got to hook it to the baler this morning.

I'll post the code later.

Ok looked at my model code, EA414L
L code says it has the 18x8 Synchro trans but I'm not sure how you get 18 forward gears from it, 4 spd with dual range = 8 gears, dual power adds 8 more making 16 total.
May be a printing error and should say 16x8 Synchro trans

Tractor was built November 89.

your first decal is the lever to engage the front axle (MFWD)

looking up your shifter decal part number gives you -
DECAL 8 x 4, IPTO, 30 KPH, 4610 E2NN7B292AGA

so is "D" a 8x4 Syncro-shift?
