PA rims question

Saw this ad below and got me
wondering what the 2 different
locks are for ? My 960 has all 8
the same.

The 2 different ones are for use as temporary stops anywhere along the rails. If one wanted a certain spacing he/she just clamped that stop in the desired position so that the center would stop in the right spot.

OEM setup had the clamps as pictured in your add. I think the temporary stop ones were easy to break and were replaced by the more common one in many instances.

The odd clamps are caller spacer clamps. They can be used to precisely set wheel spacing when adjusting the rims.

Because the spacer clamps will be broken when tightened if installed in any position but the correct position, they are often broken.

The 2 "odd" ones (2nd from left) locked into the slots on the rim & were used as stops so that everything was lined up for the wedges to be put in. The 2 on the far left are the stops so you don't screw the rim all the way off.

If that ad wasn't for rims ,tires
and all I would love to buy the
small hardware. But I believe it
is in PA. Way too far for me.

I have a shop manual not an owners manual. I'm guessing that would have how to info? We have spun the rims in and out and it's not the easiest thing to do. Loosen bolts, slide clamps, tight bolts a bit then spin em. Always a struggle to get all 4 clamps lined back up. Any hints to make it easier? Love the shared knowledge here.

Jack the wheel of the ground and turn it by hand, that way ,a lot easier to stop where you want it!

That sounds easier than wrestling a loaded tire and rim like I had to with dads tractors, we didn't have easy pessy power adjust rims.
Today many of my tractors have power adjust rims that have never been moved.
