Need to know the oil specs for the trans. and diff. Is diff and Hyd. in same compartment and takes eight quart.?? Thanks

3 separate sumps, Transmission 5 quarts 80 wt. Differential 7.5 quarts 80 wt.
Hydraulic 8 quarts Ford 134 D. I put 90 wt. in my Trans. & Diff.that what I had.

You can also use a premium Universal Trans/Hydraulic Fluid (UTF) meeting Ford spec M2C134-D (often called Ford 134-D) in all three compartments.

As the OCB pointed out, there are three separate sumps on your tractor; tranny, hydraulics, differential. In further explanation of AW's great recommendation to use just one oil - There are seals around the shaft that travels through all three sumps. Those seals wear out and allow fluid to transfer from one sump to another. For that reason, some folks run M2C134D in all three compartments.

Whatever path you choose, make sure the hydraulic fluid carries a label indicating it [b:7621536a25]MEETS OR EXCEEDS FORD/NEW HOLLAND M2C134D SPECIFICATION[/b:7621536a25].

NO. that is incorrect. The jubilee specified hydraulic fluid meeting m-4864-a or m2c41. NOWHERE did is specify m2c134d... which is a much much much newer fluid developed for higher pressures and to fight oxidation, sludging, wear problems from high heat on the newer, higher pressure pumps. To say it has to meet m2c134d, would exclude 303 fluids which meet of exceed the m2c41 and the later m2c53 ford spec fluids and will work fine in a pre 1980 tractor. m2c53 is interesting as it came out very near the jd303 spec.

YOU can run the more expensive 134d if you wish, or even the newer even more expensive synthetic fluids also if you wish. Or you can simply run a 303 rated fluid that more than exceeds the spec of your tractor, and has over 55 years of working well with no problems in the industry. 303 rated fluid is very available as it meets raw hydraulic specs for simple hydraulic systems and the more stringent tractor specs for a large amount of equipment and tractors out there with wet brakes and wet clutches, with oring, antifoaming, and oxidation additives that regular base hydraulic fluid does not have..

Disclosure: I am not an oil salesman and dont care what you buy. But to say your tractor requires the 134d oil is misleading.
