Jubilee dies down after 5-15 min

Will run 5-15 min at high idle with no issues. Then starts to die down and unless you back off throttle it will eventually shut off.

Replaced sediment bowl, carb, inline filter, points, coil, battery, plugs, wires and probably other things I'm forgetting.

I would think by running good some would mean compression is ok.

Any thoughts

If you have added an inline fuel filter, it must be designed for a gravity flow fuel system.

Does it restart right away? If so, as Dean pointed out the filter could be restricting fuel flow.

To check fuel flow; remove the drain plug on the bottom of the carburetor. Let fuel run for at least a minute in order to drain the float bowl. You are looking for steady flow - No drips or dribbles.

Inline filter has been removed, good gas flow through carb and new points and condenser has been installed.

Take the cap off the fuel tank and try again.

What prompted all of the new parts?

What does spark look like when it shuts down?

Are there any resistors leading to the coil? If so, jumper across the resistor to see if changes run time.

Was it shutting down before changing the condenser? If not, put the old one back in.

Good info from all. Have a guy coming to look at it in a few days so we'll let you know what he finds. If nothing then we'll start over in case something simple got missed during this time.
This is a tractor that was mine and now a friend is having this trouble with it so I feel obligated to help

find myself using what I have thought about selling and would just have to replace it......with what....a new DEF tractor?

just to throw in a wrench.. I have see a lot of bad ignition switches on that series where as you run it, the switch gets warm and then goes open, shutting of the ignition.... wiggle the key, and it runs again.

As stated before this was a tractor I used to have so I was not with the tractor during all these problems. However it has been determined that the screw that holds the correct gap in the points was allowing them to slip. The points have been replaced with one of those electronic non contact assemblies and all is well. Thanks to all of you who offered help.
