only getting 6-800 lbs pressure coming from hyd.pump

ford jubilee 1953 with vane pump wont lift only a few inches,, o rings on lift cyl has been replaced because it was drifting down all the time,, is it time to rebuild the pump

hat are the details as to how you measured the pressure? Unless you took measures to eliminate all possible flow, then the pressure measurement will be nearly meaningless.
 
I don't think we are supposed to repair vane pumps any more, replace with the newer style.

I don't know what toh is either?

there is a plug on top of the cover where the auxillary lines can be hooked in that i put the hydraulic pressure guage in per tractor mechanic i use, i went up and down on the slide bar with a back blade on the 3 pt hitch and the most i could get was 8oo

he pressure on that port will be proportional to the weight that the hitch is lifting. That port is a ram cylinder connection, not a direct pump output connection. Chain the lift arms down and you will get pump pressure unless you have a leak between lift ram cylinder & the pump.
