Golden Jubilee Serial Number

I recently traded for a NAA, only to find out it is a 1953 Golden Jubilee...at least according to the serial number (NAA35058).

There is what appears to be a diamond shape imprint after the last digit.

Anyone have an idea what that pertains to?

A Golden Jubilee is an NAA. The NAA was made for two model years, 1953 & 1954. Since 1953 was the 50th anniversary (Golden Jubilee) of the Ford Motor Company, they referred to the 1953 NAA as the Golden Jubilee tractor, but it is an NAA model for parts lookup purposes. The serial number should have a diamond before and after it. The leading one might be faint or filled in with paint.

The <> simply designated the beginning and the end of the SN according to John smith. There should be one preceding the number as well.

Or not....
