Paulson Bucket on Jubilee?

I have the opportunity to pick up a Paulson front loader. It has been sitting unused for a number of years. I asked what it originally fit on and was told the owner *thinks* it was on an 8/9n. I have three questions, is the loader worth purchasing since it hasn't been used in years, any experience/goods/bads with using a loader on a Jubilee and will it fit a Jubilee if it was originally on an 8/9n?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had one of those loaders on a 4000.
The brackets for the 8n are different. Up until a couple of
years ago the company was still in business so you could order
the right brackets you need. Or you could Fab up your own.
I think that I had a 4' bucket on mine which made it easier to
steer with no powersteering. It was a good loader. Well made.
If you can get it for a reasonable price and you find it won't
work out for you than should be an easy sale to someone with an
8n

Thanks for the reply Kirk. You answered one of my primary concerns, that it was too much for a Jubilee. I just wonder if any of the hydraulics are good after sitting in the weeds for years. He's only asking for $300 so I might take a chance on it anyway.

I bought an old Freeman loader several years back for my 4000, and I got it for a couple hundred bucks because it had been sitting in a pasture for several years and the cylinder rods all had bad rust and there was no control valve. I found suitable replacement cylinders and a control valve on surpluscenter.com along with new hoses all around. Then I added a power beyond plate to the tractor and connected everything up. I think everything, including the loader, cylinders, power beyond plate, control valve and hoses was under $900.00.

Unless the frame or arms are badly rusted, it is worth the $300.00 even if you have to replace everything but the frame and arms.

You might be right Sean. I've attached a picture of it. Looks rusty, but not a complete waste.

Thought Paulson loaders were square framed? That is going to need all new cyls and hoses. $150.00 in my neck of the woods. $5-700 to make it usable. Think I would keep looking.

Don't know where the guy got the idea it's a paulson? Looks like a dearborn Jungle Jym style. I would pass on it. Too much work. with the wrong brackets if he even has them. Here is what a paulson looks like on an 8N and on my 4000

Kirk, that is what all the Paulson loaders that I have seen looked like. Thanks for the pictures. Thought I was losing it.
