3000 Ford Hydraulic Lift Rocker Bushing

I think I'm following you here...
Are you talking about the rocker that the top
link hooks to?
And it had a tube that it rotates on and not a
solid pin?
If so, yes, you can use a solid pin.
Im not sure why Ford used a tube and not a
solid pin there.
If that isn't what you're asking elaborate a
bit.
Someone here will know the answer.
 
That is exactly what I was referring to and thanks for the response - it will help greatly. I had to remove the lift cover and the top pin (solid) is frozen/rusted in and couldn't be removed. I had to chisel off enough of this bushing to get everything off. Now having an issue getting this bushing completely out also due to rust. Of course this can be expected since it is 45 plus year old tractor and this appears to have never been removed.
