My 821 backhoe had a sub-frame that mounted at
several points including the lower lift arm pins.
I did not plan on using the FEL and Hoe anymore, and
since the 821 came without a 3 point I wound up cutting
the one pin with a cut off saw. I left about 11/4 "
protruding.
Now I am installing the hydraulics and I would
like to replace the PIN. No luck budging it with large jawed pipe
wrench. What options do I have?
Further damage whats left and weld a large NUT on the end?
Don't think heat will work? will it?
Weld 1 1/2 sleeve for the larger cat lift arm, and change ball on original arm?
Cut "V" and butt weld new style lift pin, since I still have 1"
left most stress will be carried to the old pin.
Thanks
