Can you bypass the accumulator and still use your hydraulics,brakes,3pt and any other thing that is used for.

From what I understand about the system, running without an accumulator would make the system painfully slow.

Yes, without a functioning accumulator brakes still work but the lift will be slow. WARNING: the accumulator contains HI-PRESSURE nitrogen and you should not attempt to make repairs on it unless you are certified to do so!

My brother used to work on those, and we used to have a 6000 commander. When the nitrogen pressure gets low the hydraulics don't work very well. My brother used to repair those back when he worked for a Ford dealer long ago.
