So yesterday I jacked up tractor to remove wheels for painting. I decided to check out brakes while the wheels were off and the first thing I noticed was only one blue return spring on the left side and two on the right side( see the pics). My left brake does not return to a neutral position so am wondering if adding another spring would help with that. Last week I had the cross shaft out and it looked great and all linkage is clean and free and well lubed. I might add I screwed up on the right side and knocked the soft plug outta the inside of the trumpet on the brake camshaft. Aww c r a p I said. So today I pulled the right trumpet to fix the soft plut issue. Also cleaned some crud outta the rear end sump. Thinkin i'll change my name to Ramblin Mike.
Any thoughts on adding another spring to the left side brakes??
