Remote on 961

Getting ready to mount the one arm loader I recently acquired. Is this pressure about right for it? Not sure if I'm just dead heading against the gauge and even reading it correctly. Shows about 1650#. Also, when I release the handle, pressure drops right back down. Is this because nothing is hooked up to it yet? Thanks.

It should only really have pressure when doing something. Else it is open center and just flowing through to the sump. Haven't gaged any of mine but as long as they do what I need them to do when I need it done- I'm good with it.

It looks like you are hocked to the front port of the valve. If so, the pressure should be around 2000 lbs with the handle pulled back .In fact, you should have had a hard time holding the lever in the raised position with no oil flowing any where.( no hoses hooked up) When you let go of the handle it should return to neutral (middle position) and the pressure remain real close to maximum, in your case, 1650.

Was at 1200 rpm. I'll try to get the loader on this weekend and see what it reads when hooked up. Thanks.
